Mission
SWLC works to permanently protect Wisconsin’s special places for the benefit of human communities and all living things. Our events and outreach initiatives inspire a connection with the land and educate about the importance of conservation and regenerative farming. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Southern Wisconsin Land Conservancy serves Green, Rock, southern Dane, SE Lafayette and SE Grant counties.

We envision a future where increased biodiversity, clean water, healthy food and a thriving economy can be enjoyed by all.

Conservation
Planning, designing, facilitating & monitoring restoration projects.
Collaboration
Contributing to local conservation groups & science & education organizations through sponsorship & partnerships.
Advocacy
Raising awareness about the importance of conservation for the preservation of biodiversity, natural resources & human health.
Fundraising
Raising funds for restoration projects & education & science via outreach efforts & the Three Waters Reserve restoration project.
Education
Hosting events & coordinating volunteer programs to provide education, support & resources.
